HEY, I’M JAMIE!

When you’re born into a military family, you can’t help but love to travel!

I was raised on military bases around the world. Shortly after my dad retired, I enlisted and continued my global adventures. Through his service, and now mine, I’ve had the great fortune of living in five countries outside of the U.S. and have visited countless others. Looking ahead towards my own retirement from military service, I can’t see a future without travel. What better way to put my lifetime of knowledge and experience traveling to use than to help others with their travel adventures?

Here are a few candids from my recent adventures!

My first unwitting client?

My kiddo!

He’s such a great travel partner! From early mornings, to long layovers, sleeping on airport floors, international fights, road trips, cruises, theme parks, you name it; he’s game for all manner of adventure!

Meet my dogs!

Penny: Chief Cuddle Officer

At 12 years old, Penny is the matriarch of the team and has been a beloved member of our family since before her spots appeared! As the runt of her litter, she defies her breed with her petite 40-pound frame, gentle demeanor, and lap-dog mentality. A seasoned world traveler, Penny has flown on planes, ridden forklifts, and even cruised on luggage carts during our military family adventures. When she’s not napping in the sun, you’ll find her enthusiastically chasing tennis balls with the energy of a puppy.

Cooper: Security Specialist

Six-year-old Cooper, an American Foxhound with a heartwarming rags-to-riches story, joined the family at age five. After surviving a rough start in life, he’s now living his best life as a couch potato by day and skilled foot-warmer by night. Cooper’s keen sense of “home security” includes testing the backyard fence for weaknesses—and keeping the kitchen counters spotless (even if the methods are questionable). Despite his mischievous streak, Cooper’s loyalty, resourcefulness, and determination make him an invaluable member of the team.

Link: Junior Mischief Manager

Link, our 2-year-old American Foxhound, was destined to be part of our pack. We met him at an SPCA-sponsored 5K event, where his adorable charm (and a bit of begging from my son) made it impossible to leave without him. Full of curiosity and mischief, Link loves bringing “presents” (though the contents can be… interesting). With a talent for stealing couch space and an unrelenting enthusiasm for life, Link brings endless joy, energy, and laughter to the team.
