A Year of Travel: My 2023 Get-To-Dos

Happy New Year!

One of my favorite parts of social media is getting to look “behind the scenes” at what my favorite influencers and online personalities are up to.

So, in the spirit of pulling back that curtain, today I’m sharing my 2023 Travel “Get To Do” List for 2023!

I’m fortunate to get to go on so many adventures this year, and I want to take you along for the ride!

Read on to find out my 2023 Travel Plans!

A Winter Cruise on Disney’s Fantasy

In February, I’m boarding the Disney Fantasy for a 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise with ports of call at Disney’s Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral, San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and Tortola.

And this cruise is special! Why? Because it features a Pixar Day at Sea–a brand new themed day where we’ll get to sing, dance, play, and swim with some of Pixar’s most beloved characters.

But, most importantly, I’m looking forward to learning more ways to better serve my Disney clients and learn all about new and exciting updates to the Disney experience!

A Springtime All-Inclusive Vacay

In the spring, I plan to vacation to either Dreams Aventuras in Mexico or Dreams Los Mareas in Costa Rica.

These are both Hyatt properties–so I’m looking forward to experiencing all this luxury brand has to offer!

Located on Riviera Maya–a stretch of Caribbean coastline on Mexico’s northeastern Yucatan Peninsula, Dream Aventuras is a family-friendly all-inclusive resort.

If I choose this option, I can visit Tulum’s Mayan ruins, explore the Caribbean Sea, take scuba lessons, and play with dolphins in the Riviera Maya. (Not to mention visit the spa and lounge poolside–and two pools!

Dreams Los Mareas, another family-friendly all-inclusive,  is located on Costa Rica’s Playa El Jobo.

It offers white water rafting or hiking in the rainforest, a world-class spa experience, and awe-inspiring views of the Costa Rica’s natural wonders.

I don’t think I can go wrong with either option. Be sure to check out my Instagram to find out which destination I choose!

A Summer Trip to Blue Ridge, Tennessee

Have you ever been to Blue Ridge?

I’m especially excited about this trip, because I’ll get to spend time with family as we visit Dollywood, take short hikes in the Smoky Mountains, and maybe even attempt a white water rafting trip!

(As much as I love Disney, I’m hoping that Dollywood offers a cooler theme park experience–Orlando is hot in the summer!

Fall Trips to New Hampshire and Oregon

I can’t wait to visit New Hampshire in the fall. I have family there and visit often, so here are a few things I’m most excited to see and do this time around:

  • Apple Hill Farm for pick-your-own, well, everything! This local favorite also specializes in fresh baked goods, locally made products, wines, sauces, and more.

  • Lake Winnipesaukee for boating and recreation. This is New Hampshire’s largest lake and famous for its annual ice-out contest.

We’re also planning a visit to Oregon, where I’m really looking forward to visiting Powell’s Books, which claims to be the largest independent and used bookstore in the world.

Wrapping Up

That’s a wrap on my 2023 travel plans! But I should also add that I hope to take a Norwegian Cruise to Bermuda at some point, too!

Do you have big travel plans this year? Whether you’d like to cruise to the Caribbean, visit an all-inclusive in Costa Rica, or plan a family trip to Disney or Universal, reach out! I’d love to make your family vacation part of my to-do list this year!
